Richmill Window Cleaning — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Richmill Power Washing LLC, d/b/a Richmill Window Cleaning (“Company”). By approving an estimate, signing an agreement, or authorizing service, the customer (“Customer”) agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Scheduling & Property Access

Customer must provide safe and reasonable access to all areas being serviced and a working water source when required. Customer must close windows and doors, keep children and pets away from work areas, remove or secure fragile or valuable items, and disclose known hazards or damaged areas.

Service dates may change due to weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond the Company's control.

2. Payment

Payment is accepted by credit or debit card only. Customer authorizes the Company to charge the payment method on file for amounts due under the approved estimate or agreement.

3. Service Plans

Service Plans are automatically scheduled and billed at the frequency and price shown in the approved agreement. Customer authorizes the Company to store and automatically charge the payment method on file without additional approval for each service. Failed payments may result in suspension or cancellation of service.

Customer may cancel a Service Plan at any time. Cancellation stops all future scheduled services and future charges. All amounts already paid or charged are non-refundable.

The Company may adjust future pricing with advance notice or cancel a Service Plan due to non-payment, safety concerns, property conditions, repeated rescheduling, or operational limitations.

4. Property Condition & Pre-Existing Damage

Customer is responsible for ensuring the property and its components are in suitable condition for cleaning. Cleaning may reveal pre-existing deterioration, oxidation, staining, discoloration, defects, or damage.

The Company is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, defective or improperly installed materials, loose components, failed seals, wood rot, inadequate caulking, or other conditions not caused by the Company's negligence or willful misconduct.

The Company may photograph or record work areas before, during, and after service for documentation, quality control, training, and dispute resolution.

5. Window Cleaning

Customer must provide reasonable access to windows being cleaned. Standard blinds and curtains do not need to be removed when they can be easily moved or worked around. Windows obstructed by furniture, difficult-to-remove window treatments, or other items may not be cleaned if safe and reasonable access cannot be provided.

Customer is responsible for removing or securing fragile, valuable, or sensitive items near windows. Company technicians are not responsible for moving or handling such items.

The Company is not responsible for pre-existing scratches, failed seals, glass defects, or damage to brittle, deteriorated, loose, defective, or improperly installed screens, frames, seals, or other window components.

6. House Washing & Surface Cleaning

The Company may use professional cleaning solutions, including sodium hypochlorite. Reasonable precautions are taken to protect surrounding property and landscaping; however, sensitive vegetation may experience temporary stress or discoloration.

Cleaning may reveal pre-existing oxidation, fading, discoloration, deterioration, curing inconsistencies, exposed aggregate, or other surface conditions. Complete removal of oil, rust, artillery fungus, tree sap, paint, concrete splatter, oxidation, or other permanent or embedded stains is not guaranteed. Specialized stain removal is not included unless stated in the approved estimate.

House or building washing does not include conventional window cleaning unless specifically included. Water spotting or residual drainage from siding or weep holes may occur following service.

7. Hard Water Stain Removal

Hard water stain removal is a restoration process, and complete removal or a “like-new” appearance is not guaranteed. Restoration may reveal pre-existing etching, scratches, fabrication debris, failed seals, manufacturer defects, or other imperfections.

Restoration may require abrasives, compounds, or mechanical polishing and may result in minor haze, micro-scratching, swirl marks, or visual distortion, particularly on tempered or heavily damaged glass. Customer accepts these inherent restoration risks. The Company is not responsible for pre-existing defects, damage revealed by restoration, or incidental surface changes resulting from properly performed restoration.

8. Roof Cleaning

Roof cleaning uses professional cleaning solutions and low-pressure application. Moss, lichen, and other organic growth may take several weeks to fully release and are not forcibly removed. Sensitive vegetation may experience temporary stress or discoloration, and additional treatment may occasionally be necessary.

9. Service Limitations & Acceptance

Results vary based on the age, condition, materials, staining, and prior maintenance of the property. Complete stain removal or specific results are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing. The Company may decline, stop, or modify work when conditions create a safety risk or reasonable risk of property damage.

By authorizing service, Customer approves the scope and pricing in the applicable estimate or agreement and accepts the risks and limitations described in these Terms.

Any alleged property damage must be reported within 48 hours of service completion to allow the Company a reasonable opportunity to inspect and address the condition. The Company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, inherent material defects, disclosed risks of the cleaning or restoration process, or conditions outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for the Company's negligence or willful misconduct.
