Terms & Conditions

Richmill Power Washing LLC
Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions (BINDING AGREEMENT) are Effective
BETWEEN:
Richmill Power Washing LLC (The “Company”), a company existing under the laws of Pennsylvania and Delaware, with its head office located at:
1112 Sunwood Lane, Lancaster, PA 17601
AND:
The property owner, referred to as “The Client.” The agreement pertains to the completion of residential or commercial exterior cleaning services, including pressure washing and soft washing services, and the receipt of payment from the Client.

Authorization
To complete the cleaning service, the Client grants the Company access to the property within the estimated timeframe. If the service needs to be rescheduled due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the Company will make every effort to accommodate the Client's needs. The Client must provide access to an outdoor spigot, which will be turned on and easily accessible for the Company's use. If the property relies on well water or has low water pressure, the Client must inform the Company prior to arrival and avoid using water during the cleaning service.

Service Plans (Recurring Services)
A “Service Plan” is a recurring exterior and/or window cleaning service performed automatically at a predefined frequency (such as quarterly or biannual), as selected by the Client at the time of enrollment and outlined in the approved estimate.
By enrolling in a Service Plan, the Client agrees that services will be performed automatically each service cycle and scheduled by the Company based on route efficiency, weather conditions, and operational availability. While specific service dates cannot be guaranteed, the Company will provide advance notice prior to each scheduled visit and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate scheduling requests.
Service Plan Billing & Payment Authorization:
For Service Plans, the only acceptable form of payment is credit or debit card. By enrolling, the Client expressly authorizes Richmill Power Washing LLC to securely store a payment method on file and to automatically charge the card on the first day of the scheduled service month at the agreed per-visit rate shown in the approved estimate. Charges will be processed automatically without the need for additional approval at each visit. Failed or declined payments may result in delayed service, suspension, or cancellation of the Service Plan.
Cancellation:
Service Plans may be canceled by the Client at any time with written notice to the Company. To avoid charges for an upcoming scheduled visit, cancellation must be received at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service date. Once a service visit has been performed or is within 48 hours of the scheduled date, the corresponding charge is non-refundable.
The Company also reserves the right to cancel a Service Plan at any time, with or without notice, including but not limited to non-payment, repeated rescheduling, safety concerns, or operational limitations.
Pricing Adjustments:
Richmill Power Washing LLC reserves the right to adjust Service Plan pricing with prior written notice to the Client. Any pricing changes will apply only to future service visits and will not affect services already completed or scheduled within the current billing cycle.

Payment Terms
Our payment options are cash, check, ACH transaction, or credit/debit card. Please note that for residential services, payment is required upon completion of the work on the day of service. For commercial services, invoices are subject to a net 30 payment term. Any outstanding invoice after 45 days will be subject to late fees. In the event of an outstanding invoice after 90 days, the Company reserves the right to pursue a civil claim to collect the debt. In such a case, the Company also reserves the right to seek compensation for all legal costs incurred.
For recurring service plans, the only acceptable forms of payment are credit or debit card. By enrolling in a service plan, the Client expressly authorizes Richmill Power Washing LLC to securely store a payment method on file and to automatically charge the card for each scheduled service visit in accordance with the agreed service plan pricing and billing schedule. Charges will be processed automatically without the need for additional approval at each visit. Failed or declined payments may result in delayed service, suspension of the service plan, or plan cancellation.

Media Release and Use
Please be aware that the Company reserves the right to use cameras, photos, and videos for Company documentation, training, and marketing purposes. However, if you do not wish for any photos or videos of your property to be used for marketing purposes, please notify our Company in advance. We will make sure to respect your request and exclude any media related to your property from our marketing materials. Thank you for your understanding.

Acknowledgement of Risks and Release of Liability
At Richmill Power Washing LLC, our highly trained technicians utilize cleaning chemicals to remove organic and inorganic staining for the best possible results. We take all necessary precautions to prevent any property damage during the cleaning process, but it's important to note that there is always a risk, especially on delicate surfaces.
Before beginning any pressure washing/house washing/roof washing work, our technicians will conduct a property walk down and document any existing damage to the property through photographs or videos. This process helps to ensure that we do not cause any further damage during the cleaning service and helps to protect both the Client and our Company.
It is essential that your property is in good repair and weather-tight, including all components that may affect its weather-tightness such as electrical services, doors, windows, siding, shingles, gutters, and caulking. We cannot be held liable for any water damage resulting from poor installation, maintenance, or repair of these items, including improperly installed siding, loose shingles or siding, broken or opened windows, improperly sealed windows and doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, and improper caulking. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that their property is in good condition before we provide our cleaning services.

Hard Water Staining Acknowledgment
Hard water stain removal is a restoration process, not standard window cleaning. Many forms of glass damage cannot be seen until after stains are removed, including etching, scratches, fabrication debris, mineral burn-in, oxidation, and wiper marks. Because these issues usually exist before restoration begins, Richmill Power Washing LLC is not responsible for any pre-existing imperfections or damage that becomes visible once the glass is restored.
Hard water stains vary in depth and severity, and some penetrate the surface of the glass. For this reason, Richmill Power Washing LLC does not guarantee 100% removal or that the glass will appear “like new.” Our commitment is to improve the appearance and condition of the glass as much as is safely possible within accepted industry restoration methods.
Prior to beginning work, Richmill Power Washing LLC will visually inspect the glass for any noticeable damage or irregularities. Because many issues are not visible until after restoration, this inspection is limited to what can be reasonably observed at the time. Any damage present before service begins is considered pre-existing. By approving the work, the Client acknowledges that pre-existing defects may become more visible during or after the restoration process and agrees that Richmill Power Washing LLC is not responsible for such conditions.
The restoration process may involve the use of abrasive pads, mineral compounds, and mechanical polishing tools. Due to this, the Client acknowledges that micro-scratching, light swirl marks, surface haze, or visual distortion may occur as part of the normal restoration process. Deeply etched stains often require more aggressive polishing, which may expose previously hidden imperfections. The Client understands these risks and agrees that Richmill Power Washing LLC is not responsible for any normal or incidental marks that result from professional hard water stain removal.
Tempered glass can contain manufacturing defects or fabrication debris that may scratch or appear during restoration. It is also more prone to haze, swirl marks, and distortion compared to non-tempered glass. The Client acknowledges these inherent risks and agrees that Richmill Power Washing LLC is not responsible for issues caused by hidden defects or the characteristics of tempered glass.
All estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of quoting. If stains are deeper, more widespread, or require a higher level of restoration than originally observed, the scope and pricing may need to be adjusted. The Client will be notified if additional work becomes necessary.
The Client acknowledges that the hard water stain removal process inherently carries the risk of minor surface changes. By approving the work, the Client accepts these restoration-related changes as a normal and acceptable outcome of the process. Richmill Power Washing LLC will take reasonable steps to minimize any marks or distortion while significantly improving the condition of the glass, but is not liable for incidental surface changes that naturally occur as part of the restoration.
Richmill Power Washing LLC assumes no liability for pre-existing damage, for damage that becomes visible due to stain removal, or for post-restoration visibility of imperfections. We are also not responsible for breakage caused by existing cracks, fractures, loose frames, or deteriorated seals. The Client acknowledges that any surface-level changes resulting from the restoration process are considered acceptable and understands that the goal is improvement, not perfection.
Hard water stain removal may produce dust or slurry. While reasonable precautions will be taken to protect surrounding areas, Richmill Power Washing LLC is not responsible for damage to window seals, frames, paint, metal finishes, landscaping, or interior surfaces if such damage is related to pre-existing deterioration, age, or improper prior maintenance.

House/Building Washing Acknowledgment
At Richmill Power Washing LLC, we use effective cleaning solutions, including sodium hypochlorite, to remove organic growth from exterior surfaces. We prioritize environmental protection, taking several precautions to minimize any risks to plant life during the cleaning process. However, please note that high temperatures during the day may still cause some plants to burn.
At Richmill Power Washing LLC, we would like to inform our Clients that prolonged UV exposure may cause oxidation of vinyl and painted surfaces on homes and buildings. Oxidized surfaces may leave a chalky residue on your hand when rubbed, and low pressure cleaning may reveal blemishes on these surfaces that were previously less visible. If our technician discovers that your building or home exterior is oxidized, we will discuss this with you prior to washing and recommend the appropriate course of action.
During our washing process, we utilize the Client’s water, which may result in water spotting on windows/glass surfaces. Please note that our standard building or house wash does not include conventional window cleaning unless otherwise stated and agreed upon in the initial estimate. We recommend discussing any additional services with our team before the cleaning process to ensure all your needs are met.
At Richmill Power Washing LLC, we want to make our Clients aware of weep holes on vinyl siding. These holes are essential for the ventilation of the siding and are located on the underside of the vinyl ledges. However, different types of bugs can make homes out of these holes and often bring mud and debris into them. After we complete a cleaning service, it's possible that mud or dirt may drain from these holes, leaving a faint red/ orange stain. These stains are not permanent, and we ask Clients to please contact our Company if this occurs so that we can come back to resolve the issue.
Certain stains, such as tree sap, artillery fungus, concrete splatter, and paint and stain splatters, may not be removable by conventional power washing methods. We'll do our best to identify these areas and set realistic expectations, but some stains may be impossible to remove entirely.

Window Cleaning Acknowledgment
At Richmill Power Washing LLC, we offer both exterior and interior window cleaning services. While we strive to deliver streak-free, crystal-clear results, several factors outside our control can affect the final appearance of your windows, including existing scratches, hard water stains, damaged seals, and imperfections in the glass.
For interior window cleaning, the Client must ensure all window areas are accessible prior to our arrival. This includes removing blinds, curtains, furniture, or other obstacles that may block access. The Client is responsible for securing or removing fragile items near the cleaning area to prevent accidental damage.
For exterior window cleaning, please note that weather conditions, direct sunlight, and hard water from the property’s water source can cause spotting after service. Our cleaning does not repair or remove permanent etching, scratches, or mineral deposits unless otherwise stated in writing.
If window screens are to be cleaned, they must be removable and in good condition. We cannot be held responsible for damage to screens that are brittle, corroded, or improperly installed prior to our arrival.
By approving window cleaning services, the Client acknowledges these terms and releases Richmill Power Washing LLC from liability for pre-existing damage, manufacturer defects, or conditions beyond our control.

Concrete Cleaning Acknowledgment
The appearance of concrete can be affected by various factors, such as the timing of pouring and curing. When concrete is contaminated with dirt or other pollutants, cleaning may make these stains more visible. Exposed aggregate may also become more noticeable after cleaning.
Rust stains require specialized chemicals and processes; pressure washing alone is usually insufficient. If rust stain removal was not discussed during the estimate, it may not be included.
Oil stains may be difficult to remove completely, especially if they have been present for a long time. Once oil stains penetrate the concrete, they are often visible despite cleaning.

Roof Cleaning Acknowledgment
In our roof cleaning process, we use chemicals and low-pressure application to neutralize the organic growth that causes unsightly discoloration on the roof. While we strive for the best possible outcome, the Client must understand that there is a small chance that browned grass may occur in the areas of the downspouts.
Additionally, the Client acknowledges that the natural elements may take 6-8 weeks to fully remove the neutralized organic growth. We do not forcibly remove organic growth, such as moss and lichens, unless the Client signs a liability waiver requesting us to do so with pressure. On the day of cleaning, most/all of the discoloration will be removed, but please note that our Company may have to return for re-application in some cases. We include this acknowledgment to ensure that Clients are fully informed about the roof cleaning process, the potential outcomes, and the timeline for the natural elements to remove the neutralized organic growth.

Agreement/Acceptance to Terms and Conditions
Upon acceptance of the estimate, the Client agrees that all specifications and conditions outlined in the proposal/estimate are hereby accepted. The Client also authorizes the Company to complete the work as specified in the proposal/estimate form. The Client acknowledges and releases the Company from any liability for property damage, unless such damage is caused by negligence or willful misconduct.
Additionally, if any damage is found on the property after completion of the work, the Client must report it to the Company within 48 hours of the completion of the service. Failure to report damages within this timeframe may result in the inability to file a claim.
